National Business Crime Centre – www.nbcc.police.uk 

The primary role of the NBCC is to provide support, guidance, and training to businesses and organisations to help them prevent and respond to business crime effectively. This includes providing advice on crime prevention measures, sharing best practices, and helping businesses to report and investigate incidents of crime.

Scottish Partnership Against Rural Crime – www.scottishparc.co.uk 

Multi agency partnership working to prevent, tackle and reduce rural crime throughout Scotland

Trading Standards Scotland – www.tsscot.co.uk

Working as part of local government, the web site has information on among other things consumer issues and scams, how to avoid them and where to report them. 

Trusted Trader – www.trustedtrader.scot 

An organisation endorsed by Police Scotland and local government to assist members of the public find vetted local trades people. 

National Cyber Security Centre – www.ncsc.gov.uk 

UK government web site to assist the public and businesses in all things cyber, including scams and general online security. 

If you see anyone acting suspiciously near to your property, please contact the police immediately with as detailed a description as possible of the person and any vehicle.

In an emergency phone 999 or 101 to report the matter to the police.
